GTS prod\u00aducts deliver high process reli\u00ada\u00adbil\u00adity and long service lives \u2013 partic\u00adu\u00adlarly in melt\u00ading systems, labo\u00adra\u00adto\u00adries and crys\u00adtal grow\u00ading. A central prod\u00aduct area is induc\u00adtion crucibles, which we tailor specif\u00adi\u00adcally to the metal in ques\u00adtion, the furnace atmos\u00adphere and the ther\u00admal load cycle.  <\/p>\n<p>GTS devel\u00adops induc\u00adtion crucibles for melt\u00ading precious and indus\u00adtrial metals includ\u00ading plat\u00adinum, rhodium, silver, iron, copper, zinc and tin, as well as special\u00adity metals such as gallium and lead. Depend\u00ading on the appli\u00adca\u00adtion, we produce the crucibles in dense or porous grades. <\/p>\n<p>Dense ceram\u00adics are suited to high-purity melt\u00ading processes where no inter\u00adac\u00adtion between crucible and melt may occur. Porous ceram\u00adics offer higher ther\u00admal shock resis\u00adtance and are preferred for appli\u00adca\u00adtions with rapid ther\u00admal cycling. <\/p>\n<p>The ceram\u00adics we use are char\u00adac\u00adterised by high ther\u00admal shock resis\u00adtance, chem\u00adi\u00adcal inert\u00adness towards aggres\u00adsive melts and mechan\u00adi\u00adcal stabil\u00adity even under extreme condi\u00adtions.<\/p>\n<p>For our ceramic compo\u00adnents we rely on proven oxide ceram\u00adics. Aluminium oxide provides a balanced combi\u00adna\u00adtion of hard\u00adness, heat resis\u00adtance and elec\u00adtri\u00adcal insu\u00adla\u00adtion, making it suit\u00adable for many indus\u00adtrial melt\u00ading and labo\u00adra\u00adtory processes.
