Zirconia (ZR-G)

High-Perfor­mance Ceram­ics Based on Stabi­lized Zirco­nium Diox­ide (ZrO₂) – Advanced Solu­tions for Indus­try and Labo­ra­tory Zirco­nium diox­ide (ZrO₂) is one of the most advanced mate­ri­als in the field of tech­ni­cal ceram­ics. Due to its natural insta­bil­ity at room temper­a­ture, ZrO₂ must be stabi­lized through the targeted addi­tion of oxides such as yttrium oxide (Y₂O₃), magne­sium oxide (MgO), calcium oxide (CaO), or aluminum oxide (Al₂O₃). This process yields a high-perfor­mance ceramic with excep­tional phys­i­cal and chem­i­cal prop­er­ties, includ­ing high temper­a­ture resis­tance, extreme hard­ness, outstand­ing frac­ture tough­ness, and very low ther­mal conduc­tiv­ity.
